Sexual Trauma Healing

Experiencing sexual trauma is common (someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted every 68 seconds) and it is never your fault. This free program can help support you as you work through the trauma.

When someone has experienced sexual trauma this can lead to difficulty regulating the nervous system (think fight/flight/freeze response) and an increase in anxiety and depression. People who have experienced sexual assault are more likely to have general chronic pain, chronic pelvic pain, GI disorders, and sexual dysfunction. These are all very real, physical symptoms. This program is designed to provide you with: 1) The support and knowledge to work through your trauma 2) Tools for working through big feelings and triggers 3) Exercises for working through pelvic pain and muscular holding patterns

Setting the container not only allows everyone watching to feel more prepared, but also more comfortable (especially when this content can be a bit heavy). This content is so important to not only educate, but it also provides a safe place for people to feel safe feeling their feelings. My hope is that by providing this space, people will feel comfortable learning and deconstructing sexual trauma.
