Disclaimer: If you feel pinching in the front of your hip during pigeon pose, feel free to modify by sitting on a stack of pillows or a yoga block. Alternately, try this pose for the first time with your bent leg on your bed, so you can control how much pressure you put on your hip.
This is a short stretching exercise to improve blood flow of the pelvis. This can be especially helpful for people who experience chronic pelvic pain who may not be able to tolerate high intensity workouts.
