Diaphragmatic breathing is a really important tool for you to keep in your toolbox as you work with Kiwi (and just in general!). It's particularly important if you:

  • Have too-tight or hypertonic pelvic floor muscles (which many of us do)
  • Are stressed or anxiety (which many of us are)
  • Experiencing pain—try taking 5-10 breaths

In addition to helping you relax and mobilize your pelvic floor muscles, diaphragmatic breathing also activates your vagus nerve! This can help promote relaxation in times of stress or nervous system upregulation.
