This is an instructional video discussing self and partner techniques for preparing your vagina for vaginal delivery. Dr. Casie and her husband, Austin, discuss the anatomy of the vulva, vagina, and pelvic floor as well as demonstrate techniques to prepare the perineum for birth. This is not intended as medical advice nor is it a guarantee of preventing perineal tearing during delivery, however these are the techniques Dr. Casie often performs and teaches to her clients in the late 3rd trimester. These techniques assist expecting parents in familiarizing them with the anatomy and intense sensations that can be present during delivery.
