Just had endometriosis excision surgery? While this is usually performed laparoscopically, that doesn't mean you don't need time to rest and recuperate! These exercises are meant to support rest, encourage lymphatic and blood flow as you heal, and facilitate range of motion in all of your joints and diaphragm. You can start to practice these exercises as soon as 3 days post-op. If you have any questions about what movements you should and should not be doing post-surgery, please check in with your surgeon or pelvic floor physical therapist.
